What if?

When the season started the Buccaneers lost their home opener to the lowly San Francisco 49 ers. It seemed like it was going to be just another Bucs Life season. Truly guys, gals and kids, it's only 1 game. 1 game does not make a season. Along came week two where we beat division rival Carolina in their house. Now we are 1-1. I'm sure a better record than most thought. That San Francisco team that no one thought was going anywhere, is now 2-0. Not so shabby. OK just like I said one game does not make a season and 2 games does not either, but now after week 2 of the 2019 season the Buccaneers are atop the NFC South tied with both New Orleans and Atlanta. Today we all found out that Drew Brees will not be playing for the next 6 weeks due to a hand injury. Its almost a foregone conclusion the Saints will not be the same team without their quarterback. Could the Saints take a fall in the standings making way for a new division champion? I'm sure most are thinking the Falcons are that team to take the Crown. Why? So they can make the playoffs again just to blow it? Carolina seems to be in disarray with Scam Newton more worried about his horrible fashion sense than throwing touchdowns. What about our Buccaneers? What if we string some games together? What if our offensive line gives our running backs holes to burst through? This would give Winston enough time to find our receivers. Confusing defenses who have game planned against a one dimensional offense. What if our defense improves to at least the middle of the NFL? Don't us as fans love What ifs? 2019 Buccaneers, playoff bound. I like the sound of that.

Superfan Go Bucs!!
